Citizen Homeland Defense/Survival Course:

Can you survive societal breakdown and possible anarchy? Do you know how to survive a shopping mall or restaurant mass shooting? Do you know what to do after a home invasion & your family has been taken hostage? Do you know how to survive if stranded in the harsh outdoor environments? The answers to these questions are dependent on so many variables that there is no definite answer other than whatever it takes to survive. However, it is beyond a doubt that the great majority of our citizens are in no way prepared to deal with such events. Our citizens' reactions will mirror those seen in these locales by trying to stay out of sight of active shooters, to secure in place, and hope like hell that law enforcement gets to them before they get to us. This is not a recipe for survival. There are so many more options available to our citizens when attacked, unfortunately most are unaware what those options are. And of those that are, most will lack the necessary training and mindset to put those skills to beneficial use. For many years, we have heard from our fellow officers and soldiers in the tactical and special operations communities that you cannot teach tactics and skills to civilians. Our philosophy is that we are all citizens, and it's the citizens who are the target. Arms To Bear Security Specialists believes to not offer survival/tactical skills to those who are the target is incredibly short-sighted. Look at the ability of law enforcement to "quickly" respond and neutralize these shooters or attackers. 9/11 should have taught us that it will be left up to the citizens to decide how much carnage those who wish us harm will achieve. It's time for the public safety community to acknowledge the need of the citizen's help in all facets of these types of events - To include: proactive escape, interfering with the Shooter's ability to engage static and passive targets, and even putting a stop to the killing and injuring of mass number of innocent victims by engaging the shooters themselves and how to treat the ones still alive before it's too late.

Our Citizens Homeland Survival Course will include but not be limited to:
